SYA Glasto 23 ‘Tor’

Updated: Sep 1, 2023

What a wonderfully inspirational weekend had by all. Our first ever SYA tour was a huge success! 15 intrepid SYA members travelled to the ‘Isle of Avalon‘ April 22/ 23rd

Glastonbury town known for its ancient and medieval sites and being rich in myth didn’t disappoint.

We picnicked by the natural spring and enjoyed the surrounding gardens of the ancient Chalice Well grounds. Dipped our toes in the healing waters of the red flowing spring.

Shopped until we dropped. Shared a range of outstanding vegan dishes at the Michelin Star ‘Queen of Cups’ restaurant. Meditated together. Shared a lovely house for our ‘sleep over’.

“The beauty of sharing quality time together with like-minded company is that it is truly nourishing.”

Hiked the Glastonbury Tor for early morning sunrise yoga overlooking the marshy Somerset Levels. Proved to be quite a special moment for the group.

Participated in many competitive activities at the Medieval Fayre hosted at Glastonbury Abbey; a beautiful monastery ruin, dating back to the 7th century.

Shopped some more. Shared a wonderful lunch and returned home safely with the Glastonbury ‘glow ‘

The beauty of sharing quality time together with like-minded company is that it is truly nourishing. Being with people who fill your life with joy also encourage you to be the best version of yourself.

You can count SYA Community for just this. Can’t wait for the next trip! Watch this space 😊
